Mrs. Shrimpee’s started the adventure of making people happy with her wonderful and flavorful cooking early in life. Once the idea of making others happy connected to opening Shrimpee’s, it was a wrap. Mrs. Shrimpee’s passion is in loving to feed people with naturally good and tasty food, nothing artificial and full of natural herbs and spices. Being a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, making tasty dishes was just part of her early upbringing with mom being the family’s head Chef at home. Watching mom gave her plenty of inspiration to venture out and try cooking all sorts of dishes. After traveling around and then settling down as the wife of an AirForce veteran, she started Shrimpee’s and have been enjoying it ever since the year 2000.

When the days of COVID-19 came, the restaurant was shut down in the middle of expanding, which was a real set-back. However, through it all, Mrs. Shrimpee’s decided that she would reopen and start fresh. Shrimpee’s is now located in the city of Riverdale, Georgia just fifteen minutes outside of the big city of Atlanta, Georgia. Mrs. Shrimpee’s has a desire to create a culture reminiscent of the happy and joyful times in New Orleans. Everything, New Orleans she says, everything New Orleans. Making people happy and satisfied is her aim and giving back to the community a sense of travel without traveling and enjoying great New Orleans Style Seafoods and cooking is a privilege and joy. Ya!
